Why a cybersecurity audit?

Small and mid-sized organisations are favourite targets: less protected, they face the same attacks as large ones, with fewer resources to recover. An antivirus and a firewall do not tell you whether your backups would survive ransomware, or whether one compromised account would open the whole network.

The cybersecurity audit measures your real exposure and tells you where to start.

How the audit works

  1. Scoping: scope, critical systems, rules of engagement agreed with you.
  2. Technical analysis: configuration, access, backups, workstations and servers, network.
  3. Tests: penetration tests and vulnerability analysis of exposed systems, without disrupting operations.
  4. Findings: weaknesses ranked by severity, prioritised action plan, NIS2 and GDPR compliance points.

What you receive

  • A detailed technical report and a summary for management
  • A map of your critical assets and priority attack vectors
  • A maturity assessment (ANSSI, ISO 27001, NIS2)
  • A prioritised action plan, which EKUITY can also carry out with koIT

Who is it for?

  • Small and mid-sized companies who want to know where they stand before an incident, not after.
  • Entities covered by NIS2, to identify their status and gaps.
  • Local authorities, whose citizen data and services must remain available.

What you get

Technical audit

Review of the configuration of your systems, networks, access and backups: a technical analysis, not a questionnaire.

Penetration tests

Penetration tests and vulnerability analysis of your exposed systems, on a scope agreed with you.

Maturity and compliance

Assessment against recognised frameworks (ANSSI, ISO 27001, NIS2) and GDPR obligations.

Prioritised action plan

Weaknesses ranked by severity, with concrete actions and a realistic order of work.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between a cybersecurity audit and a penetration test?
A penetration test simulates an attack on a given scope. A cybersecurity audit is broader: it includes such tests, but also reviews configuration, access, backups, organisation and compliance.
Is our organisation covered by NIS2?
NIS2 covers many so-called essential or important entities, depending on their sector and size. The audit starts by identifying your status and the resulting obligations.
Does the audit disrupt our operations?
No. The scope and test windows are agreed with you, and tests on sensitive systems are scheduled so as not to disrupt production.
What do we do with the results?
The action plan ranks actions by priority. You can carry them out in-house, with your provider, or with EKUITY (koIT for infrastructure, kollaborateur for workstations, koformation for teams).
