When do Confluence and Jira Data Center end?

Atlassian stopped selling Data Center licences to new customers on 30 March 2026. Existing customers can buy and expand licences until 30 March 2028. On 28 March 2029, Jira, Jira Service Management and Confluence Data Center become read-only. Server versions have been unsupported since February 2024.

What can replace Confluence and Jira?

XWiki for Confluence and OpenProject for Jira: two open source tools developed in Europe, with a native integration between them. ekuITy offers them as konnaissance and koprojet, hosted in France or on your infrastructure.

Can we migrate Confluence to XWiki without losing content?

Yes. XWiki provides an official Confluence migration tool that carries over spaces, pages, attachments and most macros. ekuITy complements it with an upfront inventory, handling of macros and apps it does not cover, and reorganising the page tree with your teams.

Can we migrate Jira to OpenProject?

Yes. OpenProject provides the Jira Migrator, which carries over projects, tickets, comments, attachments and history from Jira Server and Data Center. ekuITy then adapts ticket types, workflows and roles to your method, and plans the cut-over so ongoing projects are not blocked.
